Hi all,

I now have two 24" monitors, but hate using the supplied stands. I've been reading up and looking at a cleaner solution. Is anyone using an aftermarket stand setup? Any advice and pics would be appreciated.

Alan

Suggest Googling DUAL MONITOR STAND...I found the following TigerDirect link doing that:

Thanks. I saw all those already, Canada Computers and direct from Dell. But I have read mixed reviews on most of them due to quality and/or their lack of ability to be stable enough with 24" screens. I was hoping to get any feedback from folks here. I went to Canada Computers on the home the other night in Mississauga to try and see what they had on display in relation to build quality. Hard to judge since they seem pretty beat up.

there are a few office supply companies that sell really super solid ones. I dont know the names of the companies but they are those major ones who send out phonebook sized catalogues to businesses. I know that they sell to the public though too. I have been thinking of getting a dual stand for my 24" dell and my 27" iMac But have held off due to teh crazy cost of some of the dual stands.... I would look into those companies though. I saw one of the catalogues at my work... ill get the name and get back to you tomorrow evening.

I just re-read your original message and I noticed that you are looking for a dual monitor solution.
We currently use the single arm LX (http://www.ergotron.com/ProductsDetails ... fault.aspx) but I'm sure that the dual setup will work just as well

If you want something that looks better with better build quality, check out "monitors in motion". Google them. Be warned, they are pricey but they look awesome. All machined aluminium.
