I always shoot that Chinese knock off one, want it? Works great, except the lights are not staying on long enough in the dark :) If you want you can pick it up and try it, since I don't shoot my 7D much these days

I have had some bad experience with 3rd Party stuff...but Since my current camera has a built in one I am good with it ....
If I am buying one now I would stick with Either Nikon or Canon Depending on the system I am using...

The Pixel Brand Chinese knock ones are actually quite good... and universal actually because you just get separate connector cables if you have multiple systems.
