This is very cool

Can definitely expand the usefulness of the lenses you have - if you have a mirrorless system. I'll wait and see when the Fuji X version comes out.

For $600 this might be worth getting for people who have the lenses, but for those who don't, would they be willing to pay $600 + $new lens, if they are a mirrorless user? Also, why are they making it for a Canon lens on a Sony camera instead of a Sony lens on a Sony camera? Are Canon dslr users also Sony mirrorless users?

Maybe.

Certainly has that too good to be true vibe to it. Apply salt.

Initially it appears that it is not too good to be true. Maybe worth picking one of these up when the opportunity presents itself.

Appearantly the initial fujifilm X camera versions will be for Lecia R lenses and Sony Alpha mounts. WTF no help to me there! I mean I can see thr Lecia lenses, but Sony? Really? Although I guess for most it will mean old Minolta lenses which might be worth it.

I believe Canon has the largest sensor in the mirrorless market. It would make more sense if someone made one for canon using canon lenses.

Most mirrorless cameras use the APS-C sized sensor, with the exception of micro 4/3 and Nikon 1 series. Otherwise the rest are all the same size (not counting the Sony X1 which is actually full frame). And I'm sure there will be one out their at some point, it will take time to make the different variations.
