What constitutes "quite a few 8x10 prints in succession"? More than 10 in a row without a break?

I still gotta read the manual on this thing. My paper is going through crooked. Bleh.

Could have been an air bubble?
When I use to fill my previous cartridges, I always allowed them to sit at least an hour.
Air bubbles always work themselves out.

I picked up a pack of 150 sheets of Mexican made sheets of 8x10 glossy from Costco tonight. $20. Even if it's crap it's not a big deal but I'm curious if any of you have experience with it. What did you think?

I use the Costco stuff prior to doing my final print on good paper. Just to see the image as a print.
For some reason I always seem to miss some dot, spot or smear on the screen but not on an actual print.

I've tried it since and it's fine for my casual friend and family use. It'd probably be ok for clients too if the paper matched what they're looking for.

Do any of you have suggestions on paper for this image:

Size is 8x10. I'm thinking Exhibition Matte. It is an image for a client so a premium paper is preferred.

Try ilfords gold fibre silk paper. I believe I still have some 8.5 x 11 at home. I also have larger 13 x 19 if you need more border around it. I can loan u a sheet or two. Let me know

J.

I second Ilford Gold FIbre Silk. it is one of the best Baryta-esque papers out there and the pearl finish is fantastic for retaining detail and tonality.

Burlington Camera had some of the old version of the Gold Fibre Silk on sale, not exactly cheap but acceptable. It looked good to me and the client was pleased so success I guess.

Anyone have suggestions on a cheap cover for this big bad boy? I'm looking for something slightly nicer than the plastic bag it is stored in within the box it comes in but don't really want to spend much money on such a thing.

Thanks, that's a good idea. Perhaps an old pillow case can be cut and sacrificed.
