Looking for one of these locally (or something similar):

If anyone happens to know where I can pick a few up please let me know. Otherwise I'll have to mail-order it.

that jobu clamp is an actual tripod clamp jordan, the closest thing to that you will find will be found on umbrella mount flash brackets. sadly ive never seen just the clamp locally.

I am pretty sure I saw a Stroboframe cold shoe similar to the one you pictured at Headshots. Stroboframe cold shoes have a red knob with a non-red stem. I saw it in the room where Headshots displayed their tripods and studio lighting stuff. That was before they renovated the whole place.

Just like Jordan, I immediately thought that you were asking for an Arca Swiss QR clamp with a 1/4-20 screw, because that is what the photo you posted looks like, but is now what you are looking for (no scale reference in the photo).

Sometimes, context helps, as doing a reverse image search found the actual link for this on amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Quality-Speedlite ... B0082IX6MG

B&H link for the Stroboframe cold shoe: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/5 ... apter.html

Henry's link: http://www.henrys.com/4554-STROBOFRAME- ... 0-SHO.aspx (apparently only in stock at Scarborough) (Henry's also owns Headshots rentals).

Is there a particular reason you want a shoe adaptor like this? Extra security for the flash not falling off?
