Watch the guys from Fuji Canada go over the T1 I actually happen to know them in person, they are super fun and helpful. And that fuji support, much talked about is true :)

Zeiss has finally announced the 50mm 2.8 macro they promised for the X mount. It will be interesting to see how it compares with the Fuji 60 mm which I found sluggish to autofocus.

Seminar Overview

The central theme of the X Series is simplicity and elegance; the camera is a precision instrument combined with functional beauty. This is a camera you have to see first-hand to appreciate. Get a sneak peek at the new Fujifilm X-T1 and meet Billy, YouTube’s favourite Fuji Guy. He’ll show off this highly anticipated camera and Fuji’s incredible new lenses.

This is a good news for X-E2 owners. Fuji will “release new firmware for the X-E2 soon which will improve the refresh rate of the EVF bringin it to the same level as the X-T1 and also add an interval shooting function.”

Updates to all the Fuji cameras with interchangeable lens are now posted. Mainly updates to provide compatibility with the new 56 mm. A couple of the zooms also get firmware updates. Most improve IS.

I'm at this stage photographically that I now know how to use cameras, unlike when I first started and simply bought high end Nikon everything. Right now, I simply hate carrying most of it around. It's great when I know exactly what I want to shoot, but it'll never be hauled on trips that aren't specifically taken for photography reasons.

I've been spending a lot of time looking at the new Fuji X-T1 online. I can't wait to get one in my hands to test out. There's a good chance if the autofocus and tracking is up to par, most of my Nikon will be vacating my premises. The tilt screen is a nice feature that reminds me of the OM-D E-M5 that I loved.

Picked up my XT-1 and grip from Vistek last Friday. I'm already in love with it, very light and almost same dimensions as my FM2.

Can't wait to try this out and compare it to the OM1 and A7.
Should be interesting.

The Fuji Guys put on a photowalk here in Calgary a couple of weeks ago. It was really fun and an interesting day to shoot. We had like half a foot of snow fall so everything was covered n fresh snow in the park we went to.
