Anybody know a good dependable and portable CF reader for USB3.0? Hopefully not too expensive, but has to be portable (1 or 2 card is fine)

I found one from Lexar but looking for more alternatives

I have the one from lexar and love it but it isn't worth the $60 so look at this one: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/764367-REG/Delkin_Devices_DDREADER_42_USB_3_0_Universal_Memory.html

At my studio, we've got a usb 3.0 hub connecting multiple drives and 2 sandisk readers, before we had that I had purchased a cheap reader from Asia for $15 last summer, and that one has worked great so far. I only wish it came with a longer cable (I think it was meant for a laptop). The hub and the sandisk readers had nice 2' and 3' cables.

You ever find one PotatoEye? I don't want external though...

Anyone have suggestions on an internal one? Currently considering this Rosewill. I'd prefer something I can pick up at the local Canada Computers or Tiger Direct I spose.

Ashley and I share a card reader right now and I'm thinking that an internal one in my workstation would just be more convenient for the both of us. Plus, my imports are slowing down. Either the slightly larger 5DIII files are causing it or the 4 year old Kingston CF cards that were only supposed to last a year are finally starting to choke up.

I have a Transcend TS-RDF8K USB3.0 reader and it screams when copying data off my Sandisk Extreme Pro CF cards (90MB/s). The reader was quite cheap at B+H @ 15.95.

Picked up this BitFenix Card Reader from Canada Computers. My early review confirms the cheap assembly problem reported in online reviews that makes SD card insertion difficult (the mount for the card is askew from the hole). Will this cause premature wear of my SD cards? Maybe, but so far there has been no sign of wear with a small handful of insertions. The other problem is it doesn't mount internally in my case without additional stuff. That's my fault though. Performance is good. Fast to mount, transfer and eject. Significant transfer speed increase over USB 2.0.
