I just picked up one of these with 14-42 kit lens. Fired a few shots indoors (low light at ISO1600) and noticed very grainy shots on the LCD display. It was so bad that I don't think it is even usable at ISO1600 (see first pic). The second pic is with nikon adaptor and 35mm/1.8 @ ISO800. Both were shot in RAW and converted directly to jpg (no editing). The photos look worse blown up on my 24" screen than it does posted online. Larger pics can be found here https://plus.google.com/photos/11499567 ... 4663669841

Is this normal?

Aperture 3.5
Shutter 1/13
ISO1600
Focal length 14mm (kit lens)

Aperture 1.8
Shutter 1/60
ISO800
Focal length 35mm (nikon 35/1.8 with adaptor, non-optics)

They're underexposed...and poor lighting.

GF2 i find still usable at 2000 ISO, its preference.

Try looking into the noise reduction settings. It looks like its off...or on low.

m4/3 yes its noisier than APS-C sensor based cameras but not that bad.

Try to push the exposure to the right a little. It's only really bad if most of your image is on the left, as the camera has bad shadow noise (like most).
