If my 24-70 purchase falls through I'm rejoining the club. May still join at a later date. Such a neat little lens!

That's a personal choice. For me my upper limit when I was looking for a used one was $450 and that had to be an absolute mint copy with all the goodies it came with. Including a receipt from a CDN retailer. Remember all Sigma EX lenses have a 10 year warranty if bought from a Canadian retailer. You can pick these kajiggers up for $529 from Merkle and Aden.... I think, maybe and/or Downtown Camera. If you're just going to sell it when you get bored of it, or for any other reason then the warranty ain't so important, but if you're going to hold onto it for a long while that warranty becomes much more important. Especially with Sigma's reputation. They're in demand though so the price gets pushed pretty high and cheap bastards like me aren't likely to find one for the price they're looking for.

Wish they'd make one for FF sensor bodies.
