It is free to registered users of Capture One. I was eligable using a registration key for Capture One 3 Lite, I got for free when I purchased a and Sandisk card a few years ago. Haven't had a chance to see if the free version will work with software other than Capture One. Asset Management was an area where Capture One was lacking.

It will be interesting to see what PhaseOne does with the iView/Expression Media software. I used to love it back when it was iView but the project sort of lost momentum over the years. I don't think it can be beat from a DAM, keywording, searching aspect.

There's no integration, you're just getting a free license to a full copy of Expression Media 2 if you're a C1 user (which I am, the non-Pro version)

I've been playing with it and am pretty impressed, it's a nice upgrade over the old iView Media Pro (which became Expression Media 1). The only real weak spot is poor RAW file support, but I suspect PhaseOne will get that under control pretty quick.
