ok, just doing some pricing... Vistek is selling an ND1 grad for the X-pro system at $169.95 and holder is $119.95

Or you can get a kit with holder and 3 grad filters for $389.95

Additionally... you need the universal ring at $149.95 to mount to the 14-24.

Wowsers..... if I were to get just 1 filter, holder and ring = $439.85

or the kit which is a better deal for three filters, plus ring = $452.95

and most folks recommend plugging the back of the holder with foam, otherwise you get a reverse reflection.

But the cool thing... is that its possible to use a filter on a 14-24! I just might get one eventually anyhow.

Somehow, the words "I told you so" come to mind :).

Will you have the rig by Friday is now the question.

You could use a Matte-Box designed for medium format or movie-cameras. They come with their own rails, shield the filters from flare/glare etc.

The biggest problem will be price.

actually let me rephrase that...... I can't afford it right now.... but I will start to collect bits between now and the summer, as I'll probably want this by the summer time when I am out shooting more landscape's.
