That is a pretty cool review.....I can't even imagine leaving my camera lying in the snow like it is in the pic you posted...

that was more of a headline than a review...

i was expecting a story of failed 5dmk2s like the luminious landscape antarctic reviews...

Maybe I'm just a bit more cautious using my gear in the elements but this guy isn't... Canon 5D Mark II in the snow.

Obviously somebody didn't read Michael Reichmann's Antarctica review of the 5D Mk 2.

I read that article. 25% failure rate. Apparently it doesn't help if one is using a battery grip as water seeps in the bottom. I am quite shocked the 7D did so well in those elements. I would not even think about doing that myself.
