Pretty interesting concept. Lens and sensor are one module so the rear part is basically a docking station?

interesting! given that I am now wringing my hands over whether or not to go get a sensor cleaning kit, I think the concept is very smart. However, it seems like a waste to me that when the sensor becomes obsolete, the lens is also discarded/recycled.

Very interesting idea by Ricoh. But the price is quite steep for a point and shoot compact camera.

Interesting but a bit "half baked"? Would be best if the had done more like a digital backs idea then this stick the lens with the sensor. I guess they can make a module with a canon/nikon/sigma mount at some point...

As it stands it'll be one of those niche/cult cameras :)
