If you use Photoshop, are there some plug-ins that you use and recommend? Why? I am just interested as I see ads and links to them, but I don't know anyone who uses them.

(I know this ain't really about "gear" but I didn't see how it fits elsewhere.)

NeatImage for noise reduction. Well worth the price.

I use the Tiffen DFX plug-in. They just came out with a new version which looks awesome.

Nik Software. period

Dfine from them provides better results than Noise Ninja, checked myself.
Color Efex Complete is one hell of an amazing plug-in with a huge library of filters and effects.

Hands down for Nik Software

Big fan of the Nik software and Dfine.

Provides the best results I've seen for my 50D.

Ditto

Nik's stuff rocks. I'm using Color Efex Pro 2 SE and it's a lifesaver. Really do need to pick up the full set one of these days.

OnOne Genuine Fractals - the only way i have found to uprez & keep the sharpness.

Noise Ninja - good noise reduction, have been using it less & less though, noise is a lot cleaner in newer cameras, still when i shoot above 6400 thats what i run back to.

I used Nik, AlienSkin, onOne and Kubota, Imagenomic and NoiseNinja plugins. Some of 'em wasn't cheap but makes work a lot faster.

PTLens is invaluable if you use cheaper lenses with CA or distortion problems.

Some of the Alienskin stuff is worth checking out, in addition to the above.

Imagenomic for portraiture.

I've tried the Nik stuff - didn't like it - but that's just my opinion.
