Does anybody use the 602's with a Nikon SB600?

The manual says that they are incompatible, which I find odd.
I suspect that it is just a bad translation, but I want to make sure.

The work nicely with AB800 and I can trigger my camera (D100) with them as well (with the use of the grip).
However, I can not remotely trigger the AB800 and the camera in sync, but I guess that is too much to ask.

I guess, to make sure I will take them to a store and to a check...
Why worry?
I was thinking of getting a SB600 in the future.

i have the 602's and 2 sb600's and they work fine. the only thing that doesn't work is waking the speedlite from standby. you'll have to set them to stay on.
