FYI, BestBuy has the Sandisk Extreme III Class6 16GB SDHC cards for $79.99. Henry's have these listed for $219. at Henry's and $229. at Vistek.

Not sure if this belongs in this section... :P

Their 16GB CF cards are much cheaper than Henrys and Vistek also... but not by as big a margin.

The Sandisk Extreme III 16GB CF cards occasionally go on sale for $99. The Lexar 8GB 300x UDMA CF cards sometimes sells for $99. as well. Most times they sell out pretty quickly online and in-store.

Why not just buy 2 x 8gb C6 Kingston cards... i think kingston still honours their lifetime warranty, though I've never had the problem

http://www.sigelectronics.com/Electroni ... y-Card-8GB

$25 + tax (when paying cash)

How do you go to get the warranty? I've had my kingston died on me for no reason..

What's the write/read of that Kingston Class6 card? I went to Kingston's site and all it says is minimum 6.6MB/s? Any cheapie SD class6 card will need to meet that requirement. I need the performance speed to keep up the frame rate of my 1D MkIII or the buffer fills up and I have to wait for it to write to the card before being able to shoot again.

Here is the link on Kingston's site to start the RMA, but I think you'll have to cover shipping of the device.

I've had several Kingston desktop ram modules die on me...now I AVOID them! I certainly wouldn't trust my pictures to them.

Is this advertised somewhere ? I bought a GH-1 with 16 GB memory card from Henrys, I think they charged me $220, and would love to get price protection on it.

i've got one 4gb Kingston c6 card, and it does fine for my purposes.... it hasn't died yet so I can't tell you how the warranty is.

But it says in the "instructions" they include with it
