uhm.... congrats, but I can barely make out what lens it is. A better photo tells a better story! I think you got a 50mm f/1.7

yup, its an old m42 Auto Rikenon 50 f/1.7

so far, eye balling it, its sharper than the 50mm 1.8 mkII that I have...

I think the takumars are sharper, from the ones I've played with.

Since I don't have one, I think the only way to know for sure is compare side to side kinda thing

Ricoh lenses deserve more respect. Some of their K-Mount lenses were sisters of the Pentax equivalent. I had a K-mount 200mm f4 Pentax and a Ricoh 200mm f4 and they looked identical, except the name of course. Some older Ricoh 55mm f1.4s were made by Tomioka. Very nice lenses.
