Anyone know where these might be available to buy in the Toronto area? Something similar to this: http://www.amazon.com/Zing-501-101-Stan ... 893&sr=8-1

I am traveling soon and I would like a "skin" for my DSLR body and lens so I can just carry it around using its strap (and not have to worry about carrying a separate bag/backpack).
My camera is an Olympus E-510 and my lenses are not too long/big (if this is relevant).

It would have the same purpose as an iPod/iPhone/cellphone "skin".

Thanks in advance...

You might try http://www.cameraarmor.com/product/Olympus-E-410,45,10.htm. There is a "where to buy" section on the site as well.

Personally I use an Olympus CS-3SH with my E-300/E-330. They had one for the E-500 (CS-5SH) but the E-510 is a smaller body so it might be a bit too big. Also I had to order it from B&H.

I also have a generic one that I bought from a dollar store which I store my backup camera in (which ever one I'm not using that day).

Both are not as nice as the Amazon one though.

Henry's should have something that will work.

I also laud the CameraArmor stuff. I still need to get one for my 50D. Have one for my now-gone 30D. Worked well.

Thing is, you can only use something like that AFTER you are VERY familiar with your camera -- i.e. you know where the functions are, what buttons do what. If you need to actually read what the buttons say, it's hard with the rubber.

I bought my 30D armor kit at Vistek, but I've seen them also stocked at Henry's. I didn't notice if Olympus is in the lineup they carry.

Good luck.

Thanks for all the input... they're all very helpful.

The CameraArmor does look like it will do what I need. I just have to go to a store and handle it myself and see if I can manage to use my camera buttons with it on. Or if it will make it significantly heavier.

Thanks again!
