This is one of the latest viral videos from these people; while it does feature Olympus cameras, all photographers should get a kick out of it, especially those who hate Olympus cameras!

In this episode they take an Olympus E-620 dSLR and an Olympus P&S, and put it in a BLENDER, to try and blend them together into the new Micro4/3 camera.

I'll say it again, even if you don't use Olympus you'll get a kick out of this video (especially the ending)...either that, or you'll run to grab your camera and hug it to make sure no one does that to yours. Personally (as an Olympus user) I had to turn away from the screen.

But, there are other Blend-It videos including one featuring the I-Phone.

Well, presumably Olympus and the store they got the cameras from still got the money owed to them for the purchase, unless someone from Olympus saw these guys destroy something else and sent them some defective cameras.

What would have been more amazing though would be if they had used an E-3 with its magnesium body...would have probably have destroyed the blade instead of the other way around.

Just think how much is destroyed for the purpose of TV/entertainment, including brand new cars.

Yup, electronics runs on blue smoke...if you let the blue smoke out of them they don't work anymore.

I've done my share of that, by mistake though and following schematics without checking them.

For those who liked this, there's now a part 2...(from the "Olympus Pen E-P1" thread):

In part II he tries again with a slightly different recipe with better results:
