Why should it be locked? The discussion as it stands doesn't warrant the thread to be locked.

I agree with Sushant, for those that have been around with TPMG in the early days where it existed on meetup.com, it was a much tighter community. Of course, as the community grows, it evolves and takes on it's shape and form. People come and go.

I don't think its a big deal either as the seller bought it legally and is selling it for less than what you would get it at the store.

I have seen quite a few people in this forum buy a camera body and the kit lens with the intention of selling the kit lens for more than what they paid for it. This is still making a profit so to me its the same thing.

I personally would not do either.

I think its great that I can come her to check what is selling first. Most of the time it is pretty local, and so you'll meet the person face to face. Sure the same can be said for Craigslist and Kijiji ... but I think its a great opportunity to do it through here. Again, as stated before, as long as the items for sale have been obtained legally, then I look at it as a positive thing for this site.

BTW, Didn't we have this very same discussion with Black's initial price on the 5D,Mk.II?
