Ended up getting a sunpak hand strap from CL. Just what the doctor ordered. Perfect! I also have the neck strap attached on the other side in case I want to carry it that way. The quick release thingy is great, but too expensive for me. Unit I get annoyed with the current set up, I'm happy with what I have.

Now its onto the camera bag nightmare....
