Hello All,

I'm just curious to know if anyone has success using Eye-Fi or EyeFi Card on XTi via a CF to SD adapter. If you got it work work well, please let us know.

Thanks.

Having spoken briefly to the rep at the Henry's show last weekend, they do not officially support any cameras with CF cards.

(from what I've read) the problem with EyeFi cards is they only transmit when the camera is sitting (powered on) and doing nothing...they don't transmit while you're shooting.

So you shoot, and then you have to wait and do nothing while the pictures transmit...makes much more sense to shoot with multiple cards, swap them during a clothing change or makeup touchup, pop them in to the computer and quickly upload them while starting to shoot the next batch with a new card.

What I have read is the eye fi works in some CF to SD Adapters but range is severely limited. I think it was something like 15 feet.

That means your laptop or access point has to be close by.
