As someone who used to use Psion and Palm PDAs, both of which used stylil, couldn't you just use that stylus on ANY touchpad on ANY computer?

The Koala Pad (from the days of the Commodore 64 and Apple ][) was one of these drawing tablets, much like the Bamboo Fun is today.

I cannot see how that small trackpad could replace a full size wacom (I've got both and couldn't see me accurately editing photos using just the trackpad on my macbook.

That's just me mind you :)

Cheers,
Dave

I love my Intuos4 but if this if this is pretty decent on the macbook touchpad, it would be cool to have on a trip etc. I wouldn't dare replace my wacom.

Cool but doesn't have the benefit of different levels of sensitivity like the Wacom. But, you can't expect that for $25.

One thing that most apple products seem to do very well are things they were never really intended for.
As such this looks like one nifty idea for quick on the go sketching capabilities.
But as has been said above, the wacom is irreplaceable - or any equivalent for that matter - as they do offer one serious package.

I love my wacoms!
