The graphics of the bus (over the word Spadina) and the subway car (below the word Spadina) are what cause my eye initially.
Clever how their orientation represent the transit options above and below the street level.

this is what happens with you mount the 35mm f/1.8 DX lens on the D700 full frame camera... you get some cool vignetting effects. Doesn't work for everything, but some things are nifty.

That last shot looks like it was taken from an interesting spot. Care to share where?

I was at Black Creek on Saturday, and used my Tilt/Shift for quite a few images:

While some of the images are obviously an example of tilting the lens to one side or up/down for focus effect, I also used the lens for shifting the plane of the lens to correct perspective.

It really gives the room shots a toy doll house look.

Yes it does! Actually I would like to try shooting some video on the D7000 with that lens.

Someone has posted a link here somewhere to someone who has done that down at a dockyards. It was actually quite interesting to watch.

Processed in-camera black and white, and edited with Snapseed on the Ipad2. This was shot with my new Nikon 1 V1 in a little ghost town out in the Grey/Bruce county area. The town is called Gillies Hill, and the only structure standing is an old school house that doesn't look like much of anything. But inside, there is an interesting collection of articles. The side of the building is wide open, which is how we gained access. Gillies Hill is a 10 minute drive from Paisley.
