Queen Loana was a text book from one of my university classes. It's actually a really interesting read. But don't I get props for the Umberto Eco book with the left clone?

I stand by my Potter books.. who doesn't like Harry Potter!!? At least it's not Twilight

And as for Brown.. I got enough slack from my prof's for reading his books while in school. But I love a good FICTION book :)

I have two Solitude of Prime numbers coz there are two of me in the picture...*duh* :P

I should post my actual book shelf with my art books/other books.. This is just in my office.

I won't hassle you about the Potters. Some say I may have them too. The Browns... sigh. If you like reading "good FICTION" you should read all the books that hack ripped off to write his... Eco's Foucault's Pendulum is one for example.

Nice to hear Eco is assigned reading in some schools, only a bit of his theory was included in any of my syllabi. The Name of the Rose and Foucault's are fantastic reads (I rate both above Queen Loana which I really liked).

I like this better than the Rebekka one. This is inspiring for some creative juices. Hmm, maybe if I throw a lens up or a puppy, LOL. Either way, will need pillow to catch them.

Thanks guys!

I ended up with a few badly bruised apples, but it was lots of fun to shoot.

It isn't from last november - it's from January when I was in the process of shaving off my beard...

^^ that's funny Markus!! -though the posting of it in this group would have been even more incredulous if you'd put it in the Critique forum

Was trying to get the lighting right to match the cover of Miles Davis' Tutu album. Also on this kick to do a self portrait every week, preferably ones that don't suck.

Week 5 of my self portrait challenge for the year. Not happy with the lighting, but when you only have 6.5 foot ceilings to work with, it's not bad.
