I know this is quite non-sequitur, and I'm not trying to nitpick, but I think your sensor needs cleaning. At first I thought my screen was dirty, but then the spot refused to go away...

Beautiful picture, by the way.

On the trip I was shooting jpg only.
None of my photos have any adjustments other than some cropping. (and perhaps some highlights/shadows...)

The sensor definitely needed cleaning at the time and has been cleaned since I got back in town.

If you shot RAW I was going to suggest DPP to clone the dust out.

You didn't clean it while you were on the trip? Did you use multiple lenses? Did you need a spoon to clean the dust out when you came back?

Well now I know what dust looks like on a full frame sensor. Not any better than it does on my crop sensor. Guess I'll stick with my 30D.

Most of pictures in my ONTARIO gallery are about sunrise/sunset. Here is my recent (self-portrait) one taken on Flowerpot Island. You won't see many sunrise/sunset pictures from this island. I had to start paddling in darkness at 4am to catch the first light:

Not an exotic location like some of you have posted. This is just off the I-75 somewhere south of Toledo, Ohio. We made a quick gas stop so I pulled out the camera. Shot it wide then threw on the 70-200 with 2x extender. Shortly afterwards the skies opened up and had crazy rain and wind.
