Don't sell yourself so short. I wish I could do food shot like that. I'm pretty sure you didn't just snap the shot. The lighting and DOF is fantastic - no harsh shadows..

I LOVE this and it looks delish.. but to me it almost looks like a fancy round baking dish or stand because of the reflection and the silver board it is sitting on. If I didn't know what baked alaska was I wouldn't know this was food. I still really LOVE this image though.
