There seems to be very few birdie shooters in here. Correction: there is very few people posting birdie shots in here . These are the recent ones I took

Great shots Daniel! Birds in flight are fun to shoot. I spent an hour one day @ miln park litterally chasing and harrassing sea gulls to get shots in flight! lol It can be a difficult task! Well done!

All taken with a Pentax MF 300mm F4

Daniel
p.s. C&C is welcome. Hope there are more people posting wildlife shots

WOW!! Amazing shot.
I've seen amazing shots of snowy white owls taken near Hamilton as well. Maybe an owl connoisseur can plan an event to photgraph some. As a city slicker I haven't the foggiest clue where to find'em....other than the fact they'z is outdoors.

Some owls down at Leslie Spit. Believe it or not but I've seen a Snowy Owl at Hwy 404 and Hwy 407.

Really?
Do you know what kind? And at all times of the year?

A very timely catch indeed for getting a long lens ready for a critical brief moment

Luck was with me that day. I was lucky to have it on at the time and lucky as well because my panning skills usually don't turn out that well.

I went there twice and came back empty handed. Not my lucky spot. I could not even find any chickadee or blue jay. Not to mention Goldfinch

A few from a visit to the Toronto zoo early Nov. I'm just getting into shooting wildlife (got a 500mm f/4 IS as an early Christmas present) and hoping to learn from others that might have more experience than me. Shooting with long tele isn't easy (found out with my first outing with the 500). The pics above were captured with a Sigma 150mm macro.
