Not even close. Terriers almost always seem to have a bottomless supply of energy. Bulldogs? Not so much.

More little known facts about Java:
He once was a high powered senior management executive at a major Canadian media conglomerate (until it was bought out in an ill-timed merger). He is now semi-retired, enjoying his sevrance package and stock options.
Image

Most of his time now is spent doing home renovations using funds from his 'Golden handshake'. He's taking advantage of the recent home renovation tax rebate that was part of the recent government stimulus package.
Image

His favorite meal is dim sum (LOVES woo kok) though he confesses to needing help with chop sticks

Judging by size and the fluff of the tail, it looks like a Pomeranian.

Looks like a lab puppy, but George is actually a full grown pure-bred miniature long-haired dachshund (a long-haired wiener dog) in English Cream colour variety. The English Cream colour variation was developed in England and South Africa about 20 years ago and is striking. I love dachshunds and have had them my whole life. As they are a hunting breed they have the intelligence of a big dog in a small dogs body.

Image

My previous son, Junior, a miniature long-haired black and tan dachshund, had his company for 17 great years.

Some of George's other dachshund friends that I've photographed:

One should never anger a pregnant female - any species!

But you're right, it isn't blood. Its spewed betel nut juice.

Thanks for replying, long haired version of the dachshund? Interesting...maybe that will be the 4th addition to my pack. I also have been seeing this long haired chihuahua lately. I like the long haired version of these breeds.

MORE facts about Java:

Java is also a leader in the community - during the recent garbage strike he lead local efforts to clean the neighborhood park.

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/phil_marion/2572384562/" title="recycling by Phil Marion, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3163/2572384562_a5db832abd_o.jpg" width="1100" height="734" alt="recycling"></a>

Java is also a world-class athlete and competes in various 'strongman' competitions. Here he is in the tractor pulling contest (sorry I didn't have my wide angle with me).
<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/phil_marion/2566888588/" title="IMG_0359 by Phil Marion, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3146/2566888588_7c76f02106_o.jpg" width="1100" height="504" alt="IMG_0359"></a>

In his college days he was a fraternity jock, was on the campus football team.

We have not received him yet as he is too young. (This photo dated Aug 8 2009). We will get him at the end of September. Go to my flickr page to get a better view.
