Thanks- me like it too. It kept my gear dry on Sunday.
I was in a scramble looking for my umbrella that morning. Couldn't find it. Must be in TTC lost and founf. I saw this one lying on the bottom of the closet and thought "@%#$&#!! - I can't go out with this thing".
Then I thought. This PERFECT for the parade.

Well I did get a few e-mail addresses - requests for photos that I took. I supposed they could be veiled requests for something else. No bother though. I am used to that.
I lived at Bloor/Sherbourne at the boundary of the gay village for over 10 years. I'd joke with my friends that sadly it was the only part of the city where I still turned heads and received those glances. Yeah, I am not a young buck any more.

EXCELLENT!!
What was that a photo of?
Looks like something I might have mistakenly taken after too much patio action in the hot sun.
That's an argument against deleting RAW files you think are no good. One guys drunken stumble can be someone else's brilliant creative blur.

Well done.

 thanks, I try not to delete anything until I get to the laptop screen, but the temptation is usually quite strong

This is a storefront somewhere close to Muskoka, the top colours are actually chairs on the roof, the rest I didn't notice. I had to act fast to capture it while in a car going at 100+ km/h, I really like how the motion blur turned out here. had to crop the top 8)

COOL!! That's more of what I think of when someone says 'abstract' - but as my earlier post states it is in the eye of the beholder.

I think it might be even better in landscape orientation, cropping out the upper parts and leaving the wall endless-like, try it, see if it works  I might be wrong  although it does have a 3 dimensional feel, which it will lose in that crop

Wow I really like the least picture from PotatoEYE.. It gives a nice effect on my old 15" CRT monitor when I mousewheel up and down, it actually looks like it's moving! Did you notice??

Would this even be considered abstract?

<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/riellanart/3689289278/" title="Tunneling by RielLanart, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2619/3689289278_712b3edda3.jpg" width="500" height="500" alt="Tunneling"></a>

An actual abstract pic.

Read my earlier post defining 'abstract art' -
Essentially, abstract is in the eye of the beholder. So someone who sees the cosmos could consider a landscape to be an abstracion.
