What: Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory with tripods
Where: 2500 Kossuth Road, Cambridge, Ontario, N3H 4R7
When: Sun. June 23; 8:00 or 9:00am
Bring: Camera, Tripod
Cost: $11.50 or or more - See Below
Additional Info:

I would like to set up a photography session at the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory. We would have 2 options, both of which would allow the use of tripods.

1. 8:00-10:00am. In this case, it would cost $11.50 (regular admission) plus $50.00 to be divided by the number of photographers. If we have 10 people, it would be $16.50; if we have 20 people, it would be $14.00

2. 9:00-10:00am. In this case, the cost is just the regular admission.

In both cases, we need a minimum of 8 photographers to do this. I would prefer to have at least 10, in case of any last minute cancellations. If we go at 8:00am, I would need a firm commitment, since no-shows would affect the cost for everyone else. In both cases, we can continue shooting after 10:00am, when the Conservatory opens to the public, but would have to put tripods away at that time.

Please let me know your preference between the 2 time slots. I will try to go with the majority's preference. Unless you say otherwise, I will assume that you are willing to do either option.

I have already emailed to ask if June 23 is available; if not, I will have to try to set up a different date when my schedule permits.

Be sure to have a cloth with you to wipe your lens. It will fog up quickly after a minute or so from being outside. But once wiped it will stay dry -- but be careful walking through the misters. The place is a lot smaller than the Niagara Conservatory, but it was still nice to walk around with friendly staff. I shot there on Sunday followed by a visit to Southworks Antique Market.

I still haven't had a reply to my email, but given that it doesn't look like there will be enough people signing up to do this, I won't yet try again.

I'm afraid I will have to cancel this due to the lack of interest. Sorry Ben.
