I am planning a night shoot/ walk from the ROM to Kings Collage circle this coming Friday night August 17. We did this outing back in 2009.

Meet time at 8:00 PM as sunset is at 8:17.
See the path in the map below.

Lol well you beat me too it, I was thinking of doing a night walk Downtown as well on Friday. I was waiting to see how the weather turned out. Oh well I guess I'll just join you instead!

Neat. I'll maybe do a fall U of T walk at some point in October but it will be in the afternoon.

Bah! This morning the forecast was for clear skies and when I walked out of the office there was a t-storm just north of me. They don't know until they look out the window with the rest of us! :)

Few years ago I read somewhere that environment Canada’s picnic got rained out. So yes, I will look out the window on Friday morning. :)

LOL! Awesome. I don't want to hijack your thread with weather talk but I came across a paper earlier this year about experts, knowledge and journalism, sort of how these come together when predicting the future. Anyway, after looking at what various experts in various fields (economist, business analysts, academic futurists, sports experts many more and of course weather) had to say over the course of a year the amazing, and scary, thing is... the meteorologists had the highest success rate of... crap I can't remember the exact number, maybe 60%? I dunno. It's a strange world.

Thanks Eddie for organizing. This just goes to show there is still so much of Toronto I still haven't seen!! Can't wait to go back with more lens selection and a proper tripod :)

Yes, definitely an interesting area to check out again, both during the day and at night.

I really wanted to join this event. I loved this shoot in 2009 and I love the area. But it wasn't in the cards. I was home late from work on Friday and had a early morning on Saturday (6 AM early). I hope if you put another one up in September Eddie I can make it.
