I guess that would apply to the cook stove too? I hope not as there goes my breakfast plans of toasted muffins with melted cheese on them. mmmmm... I guess they could be done on the BBQ.

If you are offering your tent to Pam, I guess I'm bringing mine then? No problem.

Simon..... Ya, bring them along. Unless you want to share with someone.... I know Paul (bynx) has a big tent... But there isn't a lot of space for large tents on the site. Smaller tents are better.

Hi all,

so on the subject of departure times .... I have to work tomorrow as well, but I think I can get out of the office around 3pm... so I will most likely be heading home, and arriving in Ajax around 4:30-5pm. I will pack tonight so that everything is in the van, and I will give you a call BYNX - Paul when I am on my way. Simon - if you want to meet us around 5pm at my condo? That would be great.. and then we'll head up to the forest from there. I just have to grab my frozen stuff from the apartment and we'll be on our way.

With that in mind -- folks, it would be great to bring coolers if you have them, or I can bring the big cooler to share with folks. As I don't have a lot of fridge space in the trailer itself. There is some room, but not tons. Drinks should be kept in the cooler. There is a freezer, but again, not a ton of room.

There is a BBQ which is where we can do most of the cooking - and gas range stove inside. Limited pots and pans. Bring disposable cutlery and plates/cups... Trying to avoid washing. I will bring fresh water. I will not be bringing my extra tent if Pam is not coming, so please bring your tents .. it sounds like Bynx, Simon and Chris will be the only ones tenting now. Maureen, and Jennifer are inside with me.

Latecomers do not actually need me to let them into the forest - depending on arrival time, as the gatehouse is open until 9pm, and they can register you and give you a key. If you are arriving AFTER 9pm however... then I need to come and meet you - So Maureen and Chris - please let me know what time you think you will be there! I am estimating that we are going to arrive around 8:30pm... and if you are not there until after 9pm, then we will wait it out before driving in.

The cost to enter the forest for everyone is $7.50 per night... which is half of the normal rate, because you will be staying with me - which is the bonus of not renting the extra site.

OK that's it for now.

Might want to make sure you bring your Wellies and rain gear. Looks like this weekend will be wet.

ok now I just realized my tent is a BIG one designed for 6 persons (well good for 3 with lot of space to move around)

Does anyone have a air pump for air-bed. Or I will be run out of air myself before the bed is fully set up :P

I don't have an air pump..... Yea, its going to be a wet weekend. So do bring rain gear. Hopefully the rain will subside on Saturday, with only 60%, and Sunday is 40%...

I have work until about 2, then driving home (north), then packing, so I should be on par with the rest of you for arrival time.

I am off at 4:15pm, then picking Jeniffer up around 4:45pm, then home to pack the cooler and grab Kieran and will be on the road for 5:30pm. We are going to get some fast food on the way up for dinner too.

You need bigger and FASTER. B&H have what you need on sale. I am using the Lexar 1000x 16 GB in my D800 and they are great. Check out Galbraith's chart. The Lexars are the best performer in the D800. Sale is supposed to be on to the 31st.

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/buy/Lexar ... +1000x/N/0

And no I have no affiliation with B&H, Lexar or anyone else who may make money off Dave if he buys these cards.
