Toronto Photography Meetup Group

Location: Kensington Market for Thursday's Session

The seminar will be in three parts

First part on Monday we will talk about street photography in Toronto. Some hows and wheres. Set some goals. This part will have very little to do with equipment.

Second part Tuesday Wednesday Go out into streets and shoot. Street photography is not a group activity so we will not be shooting as a group (so choose your own location and time)

Third part Thursday at 6:30 we will meet at a pub and review our work.

I'll still be moving, and need to stay close to home in case one of the many services decide to show up for work!
I hope there is another that I can participate in.

I am sorry but I think April 2 is a Monday.

I have registered for this event and would love to come and learn from the group. However, depending on when those damn cherry trees bloom I might not be able to make it.

Assuning this is Sunday, and if the event doesn't fill up, I may try to come at the last minute. Since I don't know what time my morning commitment will end, and since this has a limit, I won't take a spot from someone else.

Don't worry there's always room for one more just let me know. If needed I will expand the signup list even if I have to bring in another instructor.

Do you need wheel chair access to the meeting places?

not really i can walk a little ways
i have a mobility scooter for long walks due to herniated disks in my back so need the scooter for photo walks and such but
i can go into pubs and such even short stairs

Something else has now come up for Sunday afternoon. I may be able to join you for the third part though.

I really want to attend this one but I can't sign up now as I am waiting to see my work schedule this afternoon. Hopefully I can make it to this one.

Are you shooting digitally? If so you could use your camera screen.

Weather is bad and not enough people so I decided to change the format

Monday 2nd we do the talking part
Tuesday to Thursday we do the homework on the streets
Thursday Evening we peer review our work

I really want to attend this session especially the talking part on Monday, it's just too bad that I'm on afternoon shift next Monday to Wednesday .

However I'm off work next Thursday & Friday in case you are re-scheduling this event for whatever reasons .

I'm trying to find a location that has an hdmi input to a monitor so I don't have to do too much arm waving.

Yes! Im off school monday, and thursday i finish school at 4:30! Really looking forward to this one.
