New date this coming Monday March 12th

All this discussion around town hall meetings mods and admin maybe important but in TPMG the rubber hits the road when we have the real life events. These events are what started TPMG and to my mind the heart of TPMG. Yet we have been neglecting the health of the heart.

I think it would be useful for photographers to get together and brainstorm around holding events. Consider it as a photographers event support meeting {PESM for short)

You might have a great idea for a event but you might need advise or help putting it on. Just think what events we could do if we supported each other in our efforts.

I know this is short notice for most people but I thought it was important to counter balance all these discussions around the structure of TPMG, don't worry if you can't make it if there is interest I hope there will be more PESMs.

The meeting will be from 6:30 to 7:45 at the java house 537 Queen St. W small block west of spadina. For that many people they only take cash and sorry no separate bills.

If my brother wasn't flying to Thailand on Friday, I would have attended this.

Do you think we could push it to 7 or 7:30 to allow some members some time after work. It might be a bit of a hustle to make it down if someone works outside of downtown.

I was thinking the other way - people working in town and living in the burbs wanting to get home for dinner. Before changing maybe we should wait and see if others prefer later?

Good point. Either way Im good, lets wait go see who signs up and what they prefer.

Thanks for putting this together.
It was good to talk about putting actual things together with folks and hearing other feedback and ideas, something that I've never seen done in my time here.
Thanks to everyone who made it out and contributed their time, effort and patience, I think lots of good can come from this and further action.

Thanks Ryan for organizing and I think we are moving forward in a positive position with some great ideas.

Thank you for hosting it Ryan! A very good meeting indeed. The passion and enthusiasm for the board & photography was great to see. Cockle warming. It was very productive and we're already working on things to be phased in and/or fleshed out and implementing many of the juicy ideas.

Thank you for coming out. Already I see some momentum growing with the new postings for events in the forum.

Renewed and focused interest.
