The animal will do whatever the shovel tells it. And the shovel is controlled by the handler. Nice guy that will really help you get whatever shot you have in mind.

The forecast for tomorrow is nice with mixed cloud and sun. BUT it will be cold so come prepared for the temperatures and possibly wind. We will be outside for the full three hours. Hopefully Muskoka also received some new snow to freshen the scene.

Wear shoes that have good grip. You will be walking on a bit of a hill at times that is very icy.

Thanks to everyone who came out today. A great group. Everyone worked together during the sessions. No body was eaten. It's all good. Beautiful day as well with decent light and not too bad on the temperatures until the end of the day when the wind came up. I hope everyone had a safe drive home. Bit wet on the highway with lots of spray, but moving nice.

Thanks again for making the event a success.

DG

PS On a sadder note I learned today that MCW's Reynard the Red Fox has passed away. Such a lovely and cooperative subject. We miss him.

Thanks Daryl for organizing! I had a great time and it was insanely cool to be able to get that close to some of these animals! Hopefully I got a few keepers. I will definitely try and post some within the next two weeks (large backlog still) ;-)

Thanks Daryl for organizing. Had a good time. Oddly enough the only animal that gave me a scare was the darn "horse" dog! That ain't no dog!! Lol.

Thanks Daryl for a great outing. Everything went so well. I would love to return some time to photograph the other animals. I was especially impressed with the wolves. It almost seemed at times that they were on a catwalk modeling for the cameras.

Terrific event!

Unfortunately I was in the first group so had to rush in, shoot and get out for the second group. Meanwhile, the second group had a couple hours to meander around getting some nice shots of the other animals. I imagine this owl was outside somewhere. Nice clear shot lumlui.
