There are.. and the only thing I can think of is that its a bad time of year - so maybe we'll try to do this again in the spring.

Hello, it's 5:33am and I'm reading the forums because it's just something I had to do before going to work. In fact, I will probably be late too. But, even though I haven't been to an event in a very long time I am still attending the presentation tonight. I didn't send any photos to lxdesign because I created an awesome, fantastical slideshow in iPhoto. Sorry, I spent 15 years in the Microsoft environment, and now that I've switched to Apple, everyday is a "You can do that!?" moment. But I'm pretty sure my video/slideshow isn't that cheesy. :-)

See you tonight.

PS: Perhaps the low confirmed attendance is because it is a work night instead of a weekend, and it is very, very early in the New Year.

Thank you David for organizing the event and providing a perfect venue for the presentations.
It was great to see the variety of images and even more valuable to listen to the photographers thoughts and feelings about how and why they captured the images.
Looking forward to the next time this type of event is held.

Thanks David! It was a pleasure meeting everyone last night and going for a drink afterwards. I'm definitely going to be attending more events. And despite the small crowd, the discussions that started because of presentations we saw last night were very rewarding.
