I've got a Starch app on my mind. Based on the numbers there are enough mains around, so I'll add value... hopefully.

Soup, pumpkin, with cornbread croutons and ancho jam. Already have the mini bowls and spoons. I'm ready for samples, are we doing a table/setting setup? How does this work?

Was going to do my rainbow cake, since it's not something one would normally make.

Was also going to make some sort of cookie, but haven't decided which one yet.

I think the best way to do this, will be have your food ready to be plated for shots in two servings, then the rest will be kinda "reception" style where everyone can have their serving and can sit if they choose, but can eat standing. There will be plenty of chairs, and tables in the other room, but I know some of that will be for taking pics

Precisely what I was thinking.
Prep a couple of dishes for presentation/photos and then each cook can serve up consumables if they like, or offer it up buffet style.
And then just be social as per the norm :)

So looking at the numbers for the group now, looks like we'll only have enough budget for $20 refund each chef... seems that the numbers keep dropping

I know Alex and I have already crossed the $20 barrier for ingredients (i'm at around $28 and I thought I was doing well!)

Let me know if its a problem for anyone...
