Details:

What: Camera Obscura Shootout
When: Sun, Nov 27, 2011
Time: 10 am - daylight fades
Where: Madelica's condo, downtown T.O.
Bring: Camera, Tripod, cash for pizza or whatever the group decides

In the footsteps of Abelardo Morell, we will transform a room into a camera obscura and photograph the image reflected on the wall with furniture and all. We may or may not prism the light source to right the image. Curious?

This event is limited to 3 +2 (me and Madelica) max due to space constraints.

Based on the Grey Cup (read: planned Family time) I will not be around into the later afternoon hours as you might be.
So if that ruins someone else' opportunity, I will back out.
Otherwise I'm looking forward to this!

I think we need a lot of light for this so should wrap up within afternoon.

Not sure how long it'll take for us to set up though.

Have you guys done this before?
I'm sure at worst it will take an hour or two. But we'll probably get some fun shots out of the setup anyways!

Hey Randy, it says it'll be cloudy and rainy on sunday. Do you want to move this to another date?

Long term forecast says next weekend is bad too, says it'll even snow on Sunday, but I'm flexible with weekends in general.

I'm pretty good.
Why don't we try again next weekend or the following?

Bah, guess it will be dark tomorrow after all :( and next weekend coming up as cloudy too.

Maybe towards spring will be a better time for this event.
