What: Leslie St. Spit Bike-N-Shoot
When: Sat. June 25, 2011
Time: 2 PM
Where: foot of the spit park entrance, Leslie St (Tommy Thompson Park)
Bring: any kind of camera, bike, snacks, water, sunblock, sunglasses, hat, sense of adventure
If you are throwing your bike in/on the car, there is parking at the foot of the spit. It's not marked as such but there were no problems last year.
For the event - planning on biking along the spit to the end, stopping at interesting spots for photos.
If you want to walk, click on the middle button thingy and maybe a walking group + biking group can happen. It's a long walk so don't count on reaching the end. There also may be a shuttle bus running.
This event will be weather-dependent - will decide friday night.
If it ends up being very sunny, make sure you are prepared with sunblock and water.
Be nice to the wildlife - plants and animals. Don't tromp on ground you are not supposed to tromp on. Do not litter or say bad words.
