After the success of the last LF shoot at the Brickworks. I have been thinking about doing it again. We don't necessarily have to do both shooting and developing - or we could break it up into a couple of days, where we shoot one day, and then meet another time for developing... however I'll leave the second part up to those with the fancy Jobo tanks, as all I can do right now is black and white developing.

My idea for the next meetup is to do a shoot at Black Creek Pioneer Village on June 26th which is currently a really good date for me. The great thing about Black Creek is all of the architecture of the buildings lends itself nicely to this kind of photography. And using camera's and tripods outdoors at Black Creek is no problem at all.

So here is my thought:

We meet at 11:00am, head into the village to shoot. Meet at the Half-way house for 1pm - have lunch in the restaurant. Then shoot some more after lunch.

Who's game? I have the registration active to see who is interested. Oh ya -- you medium format guys are welcome to come along too.

depending on the date I would be interested

the weekends of June 11 or 18 work for me but not before or after

Ok .. I don't know where my head was when I wrote that. June 26th Sunday was the date I was suggesting. All my other weekends are booked this coming month.

I'm interested whenever it is held if I can be free. That said, June is a bad month for me.

Same here - June 26th is the only date I am really free this month. Otherwise, it might have to hold off until August, as my July is pretty packed too.

Not much difference between a sweat lodge and carrying a large heavy camera around in Toronto humid summer heat. 8)

My large format rig weighs 1/2 that of my digital gear. no sweating going on, unless its damn hot.

since no one has proposed dates
how about either July 9 or 16th weekend
either Sat or Sun works for me
after that I am not good until Aug 27th

Actually I did suggest June 26th above. But seems like its not good for anyone. I'll check my schedule tomorrow and get back on the suggested dates. Weekends from now until October are generally not good for me now that its trailer season.
