The Waterfront Business Improvement Area has launched our My Waterfront Photo Contest for amateur photographers

[i]Entrants retain the copyright to their photographs. The WBIA retains editorial rights of all entries. Each entrant grants permission to use his/her full name & city/town to be posted in connection with the contest. By entering the contest, entrants agree to have their submitted photograph and description displayed on the WBIA website without any fee or other form of compensation, and agrees that the WBIA may display winning photos and descriptions in any of its marketing materials and may make and retain copies of the photograph for archival purposes. Photos will be credited to the photographer named in the entry form. The WBIA also holds the right to auction, raffle or sell a copy of the print/photograph and description for charity at our My Waterfront Photo Exhibit

also: anyone who makes 50% or more of their income from photography is therefore considered a professional and cannot enter the contest
