Waaay north of Bloor! Sounds interesting. Plus I like a good curry.

Do you know of places where we can get right down to the fields of sprouting vegetables stretching on for infinity?

I have a few fields we own that could be used. Longest field is approx 1km length.

Wow. That should do it then. Muddy fields here I come. I promise not to trample the vegetables.

Well, having taken a quick glance at the history for Cherry Blossoms in High Park, based on my exif data:

May 3rd, 2009
April 24, 2010

If the blossoms are out on April 24th this year again it will be beyond a zoo at High Park. That is Easter weekend.

I am pretty open in April, but May is booked up most weekends one way or another. A couple of Sundays are still open.

Like Indian food a lot. If I can't make the shoot I might be interested in just joining for the meal.

either way .... dates probably won't work for me. Depends on when the open the forest. My May weekends are completely booked at this point.

Very interested in this.

Depends on date, as most of April is busy. The last two weekend of April may have an opening??? First week of May works great for me though - either day.

As it get closer I'll know for sure.

If you can - please do not schedule on the April 30/May1 weekend. That is the ONLY weekend I am not free!!

This sounds promising - depending on the date, of course.

Just thinking about this -- there is a possibility I could do this if it was in the morning on a May weekend..

This sounds fantastic but I'm booked until mid-May and I know the veggies won't wait for me. :(

I'll have to make due by shooting the green stuff popping up in my front yard.

Have a great time everyone!

Would love to join the group. Hopefully it will work with my schedule. Is there going to be an outing to High Park as well?

Taken in late march too early so no veggies but lots of mud

Probably - check the Ad-Hoc as soon as the blossoms come out.

On that particular weekend, Sunday would be better for me. I could do Saturday, but would need to leave early.

Not being a farmer, I wonder how impressive a two week old seedling is. Is there a rush? Wouldn't we get less mud more green when the plantings are a little bigger? Just asking.

I believe it was Tim (I might be wrong) who stated an interest for this very type of shot.

Unfortunately, I'm out of town the next two weekends, so the next opportunity would likely not be until mid June.

Date picked. Sunday May 15th, afternoon.

Depending on how crazy I feel, I may try to still make the camera show in Woodbridge at 10am.
