What: Markham Photogrpahy Club Meet Up #2
When: Sun., Mar 13, 2011
Time: 7PM to whenever
Where: www.Paintlounge.ca (Warden/Hwy 7 in the same plaza as Gal's Sushi)
Bring: Your toys, good conversation, friends

Not to steal TPMG's thunder but.....its hard for some of us to make it down to Toronto Meet Ups and Socials so here's a local one for Markhamites.

This Meet Up is just a meet and greet, and to chit chat of possible outings in Markham.

The venue is at Paintlounge, an awesome new art cafe with an open art studio for some fun times painting and they serve coffees, loose leaf teas and baked treats.

Its located right in the same plaza as Gal's Sushi, next to the Hilton Hotel at Warden and Hwy 7. Its accessible by VIVA and YRT for commuters, and for drivers there's free parking above and underground.

This is a good idea! I hope someone organize a meetup in north york too that way I don't have to go all the way to Markham :-) (j/k).

I did find this group online, but I am more interested in looking for a shooting event. I have gone out a few times with a meetup group based in Burlington:

This is the second meet up...more so for new members who didn't make it to the first meet up, but its more to get to know each other and coming up with shooting event ideas for the coming months.

Only one TPMGer showed up!

That's okay.

Its not like a significant number of TPMGers live in Markham like the Site Admin.

Whoops, sorry I didn't see this sooner, I'm in Markham too! But I was at the airport doing a pickup at that time so would have missed it anyways :( Maybe next time :)

Sorry for couldn't make it. Maybe next time. ... in Richmond Hill :-)

I am considering of organize one for north york in mid April/May. Hope you guys can make it. It'll be the yonge/finch area.
