Brave the snow and come out west to East Side Mario's for some good food and good conversation, which may or may not involve photography!

Ooo I've been MIA for so long that I've forgotten how much fun these can be. Remind me as I dust off my camera and relearn how to turn it on again, hahahaha.

Any thoughts for a daytime event, with a stop at the social thereafter?

maybe a drive around Cheltenham? Badlands, brickworks, other stuff in the area?

The Cheltenham area is a bit of a haul from south Etobicoke! Although some may be willing to travel the distance. And with the 410 extension it is mostly highway driving to the social. Yup, out to 10 to 410 to 401 to 427 off at Queensway, budda boom budda bing.

Other local options might include;

A walk and shoot in High Park
Colonel Smith Park and the Humber South Campus
Humber Bay East/West
Street shoot in the city
Centennial Park Conservatory

These would offer easy drive or transit connectivity to the social location.

Needless to say, I won't be able to attend.

Come on people! Its still within the geographic border of Toronto, and is 100% TTC accessible. If folks need a ride out... I am sure some of us (myself included) would be happy to arrange something.

My maybe is really a probably, but there is a possibility I may get asked to work at our Mississauga location that day, and I don't know what the hours would be if I do get asked to work. At least that location is about a 10 minute drive from the Sherway ESM.

So nothing ever went further on the idea of a pre-social shoot. Anyone still interested?

Don't think I'll be able to make this one.

I will be zipping through downtown on the way down to the social, maybe stopping to shoot in high park.

I want to attend but so far.
