What: Graffiti Walk / High Park Shoot
When: Sunday April 18, 2010
Time: 4PM
Where: Dundas West Station
Bring: Camera, Lenses, Pants, Shirt, Shoes

The Plan: We meet at Dundas West station where we proceed to walk west down the alley towards Keele Station. We will spend some time shooting graffiti, and maybe some trains/subway scenes. When we get to Keele station, we will be on the East side of High Park. We will proceed through high park to take pictures of the Cherry Blossoms, hopefully getting some great sunset shots at around 8pm as well.

Thanks for the correction, Sat/Sun should be the perfect days for this then!

I'm interested in coming but I can't come on Sunday. Hoping they'll be in full bloom on Saturday.

For the sunset, the location is ok, but don't expect too much, also the sun will be covered by buildings and a hill, so might be better to shoot it before the actual setting

I was wondering if there was any way to get to the opposite side of the pond and take photos of the cherry blossoms from the other side.

The trees have started and are predicted to be fully out by Friday!

The other side of the pond is inaccessible, it's private property mostly and a steep hill, unless I missed something

Actually, there might be one location, but it's shooting from top and long lens will be required

Kinda looks like the rain moved to Sat/Sun, hopefully it's not too strong

Been a long time since I have made it out. Looking forward to hooking up with some photographers again. Thanks for organizing. Sounds fun.

Hope the rain doesn't drop the petals. I might be in the park Sunday afternoon anyways so I'll watch out for orange TMPG tags.

I'm going to stop by this evening to check out the blossom situation, I'll let you know what I see.

Blossoms are out full power, in two days it's going to be completely covered. As of right now there are already hundreds of people with cameras (Friday 2:30pm) Too windy though

Hopefully people will thin out over the dinner hour.

You were there?? Anyway, I was there this morning but I left at 12 pm. They should be in their full glory tomorrow or Sunday. Too bad I'll miss it

It was an ad-hoc ad-hoc tonight with the blossoms. Nice to see everyone. What a peaceful way to end the week. So beautiful. Yeah it was windy and there were too many people but it was also nice to see everyone taking delight in the beauty of the trees.

There's a second set of trees near the children's playground that has blooms that haven't quite come out yet. So here's hoping for a second wave of blossoms.

there is another section further down on the other uphill path on the other side of High Park, it's just starting out, should be there longer than the official one

hopefully we will skip the rain looking good today

Yep, I'm sooo looking forward to more Graffiti shooting If it rains a little bit, I won't mind, as the colours will pop and the reflections will be there like last time

I just hope there isn't that many cars parked in front of walls there

Updated the weather on the first post. We will be waiting in front of the McDonalds that is attached to the station on the Dundas side until around 4:15pm. If you arrive late please make your way down the alley and find us, we shouldn't be too hard to spot PM Me if you would like my cell #.
