Hi,

I want to attend your seminar. I want to ask if it is $97 for each person or $97 for 8 people?

Thanks,
John

Need to ask this question, but how is the $97 that folks paying being used. Is it to pay the model, the fee for the room at the hotel, etc.??

If this is a commercially related event, then folks need to know and if so, events such as these are not permitted here, hence the details I'm seeking.

Who is handling the model release forms? Can the photos be used for commercial use or self-promotion?

This is not a commercial event. Fee pays for all the expenses. If you need more info, I'd be happy to provide it via email/pm or phone. If you guys want, you can just inquire with King Edward hotel on their fees to have an idea... $97 doesn't even cover 30 minutes in that venue.

:)

Models will sign a release form I provide. It covers you all as well. You can use the images for self promotion, but you can not sell them(eg. stock photography).

I took this workshop last year and I found Dmitri very knowledgeable and creative. Definitely worth the money. Thanks Dmitri for volunteering your time and experience putting this on again this year

I'd rather you leave all the big setups at home. In the past, some would bring extra lights, but would never use it(other than for fun).

I'm leaving my Alien Bees at home, just bringing the speedlites. Can we use human light stands?

If someone else in the group wants to volunteer themselves, I can't see why not.

Great, I'm excited for this on Sunday.

2 models, 6 dresses, and a bunch of photographers. Sounds like fun!

Can you provide us with a breakdown of the pricing and the expenses? I want to know for the future if I decide to go to one of these.

I just got back now. I really enjoyed it although it may not have shown as much as I was just trying to take it all in, lol. This was my first time shooting people as I've only had my camera for just under a month.

I learned so much and my shots probably won't come out the greatest, but I'll to wait til tomorrow to take a look at them as I'm going out tonight. I'll post a few as soon as I edit a few of them (tomorrow hopefully).

Thanks Dmitri!

Nice pics ldam.

Thanks to Dmitri for the the informative workshop and the spectacular location. 30 years in Toronto and despite working at King/Bay, it was my first time going in to the King Edward Hotel. Love to see other participant's photos. Here are a few I processed while watching the Raptors/Lakers game, great game by the way.
