For the beginner session, I will post an agenda soon.

I will provide presets on a flash drive (or for download prior) for everyone to play with.

Queen and Ossington is better for me too.

I can check my condo's availability too for that night, which is Queens Quay and Bathurst.

Yonge and Sheppard. I'm a Photoshop user and have never tried Lightroom. Wouldn't mind taking a look at what the workflow is like.

Is there any free and easily accessible parking at the Yonge and Sheppard location?

@ashgun: not sure how much parking space there is at your apartment, but there's a mall near my place (Bayview/Sheppard).

Location-wise, we're in a bit of a pickle as I'm sure you've all realized the majority seems to be leaning towards Yonge/Sheppard except for our two presenters. Ergh. Will keep you all posted as they weight in.

Would it totally screw the pooch for everyone if we held it at Queen/Ossington (or Queens Quay/Bathurst)..?

theres parking at the madison centre building next door and also a public parking at the back of the building so it should not be a problem i think!

I suggest the organizers just choose a location and participants can choose if they can make it or not.

It's funny how interested in this I am. I never gave Lightroom a try out before going from iPhoto to Aperture.

I have a laptop, and it doesn't even run Aperture, so no sitting about trying to compare and contrast as we go :S

Dunno... I'll keep thinking about pressing one of those buttons on top.

I prefer either location since I am equidistant
for me the preference is the location with better parking...

Just to reiterate what has been posted above in case anyone missed it:

We are going to have the event in the west end either at CAMH (fingers crossed that lxdesign can pull some magic) or at Neil's condo. I think it's only fair that we try and accommodate the presenters. Both Queen/Ossington and Queen's Quay/Bathurst are accessible via TTC. If not, there's always carpooling. I hope everyone can still make it out.

I apologize for the debacle that the location planning has become. This is my first short organizing anything for TPMG so lessons were definitely learned.

For those of you in the North York area that won't be able to make it due to the location change, I promise that we'll have another workshop in the area as it's definitely more convenient for me too.

-Greg

I would be willing to do do the beginner one at Yonge/Sheppard. I'm not sure who the host would be, however.

I'm all for yonge/sheppard. I just got Lightroom a couple weeks ago, and wouldn't mind knowing the beginner stuff.
