I'll definitely try to make it, and I understand the short notice issues, but this is the third social in a row in the same location/intersection (Tucker's is a block away).

true it is ... so next month we'll do something towards the west end so that folks don't feel left out. The reason why we chose this area ... was because people were already expecting to come to Taylor Creek Park, and the location of the Firkin is not much too more east. Well, at least for those of us driving anyhow.

It was my schedule for tomorrow >> 2 PM taking therapy then going to grocery store and attend BBQ at 6PM ...@@
So I can save my time anyway....

The Firkin is a pretty rustic place.

Curious - did anybody receive an additional email from tpmg.ca that this event has changed - not the typical message you get when somebody responds to a thread like me right now.

Have a tool to send out a notification but not sure if it worked or not as I didn't get the message - just want to make sure the word gets out to everybody as best as we can.

Odd, timras mentioned that the second attempt that I did worked, or maybe it's truncating the distribution list somewhere. Oh well, back to the drawing board with that tool...

It's really too bad the weather is not cooperating tomorrow. On the bright side (for me) it's another social within 10 minutes walking distance from my home.

Thanks everyone for coming to the social tonight! wow... glad we didn't press ahead with the BBQ eh? that was some storm tonight. I wonder if the Firkin found thier umbrella? It was airborne in no time.

Sorry I had to skip out early .... had roof leak problems at the theatre, and had to come and make sure it was managed properly. All is well thankfully... and running the fans now to dry the carpet in the audiance which got wet.

Will keep you posted in the rescudule of the BBQ. Not exactly sure when I can do it, as most of my weekends are booked solid in September. So might have to be a weeknight.

Thanks David for setting this up. Glad it got changed or it would have been a mad scamble.

Boy getting home and hearing of all the places where there is damagae and thinking we got of pretty lucky in Scarborough.

I think they did find the unbrella as the brought a second one in later.

Did you have any severe weather driving back to work at all?
