Great time Sue. Thanks for putting the event together, picking a great series of stops and herding the cats from site to site . Nice day from start to finish.

I think it was Shelley who said "Cool".
And I just nodded in agreement.
Didn't know exactly what she was talking about,
but either way she was right
3 degrees celsius, snow flakes falling, beautiful fall colours
and lots of fun people having fun, how "Cool" is that.

Thanks Sue for setting up this event. As a first timer, didn't really have any idea what to expect but really enjoyed the experience overall. Sure learned a lot, by experimenting on my own, talking to other members, and eavesdropping at times :b

Never expected snow flakes at fall outing this time of the year though, but again, I'm still learning.

It was a great day yesterday, and nice to meet such friendly people! I'm very new to my camera, and didn't get many good shots (next time I will be less shy and just come right out and ask for help!). I did however get a couple of shots of the club members taking what I can imagine are fantastic pictures! I'm also new to this forum, and I don't have a flickr account. Do I need one to post my shots on here?

As a first timer I didn't know what to expect. I had a good time for the short amount of time I was there...had to leave early. But luckily I did leave early, managed to get some great shots on my way home lol

You don't need a Flickr account to post photos on this forum if you have another photo-sharing account elsewhere. However, posting from Flickr is pretty easy and you can get a free account. I've only ever posted from Flickr so I don't know the ins and outs of posting from another source.

Here's Hoggs Falls... forgot the tripod at home so made the best out of it by using a tree as a tripod.

Hello everybody,

I'm very new here and we had no time yesterday to have a closer talk so I'm still confused who was who If you don't mind, I would like to ask you to show your portraits here. If it is possible, the simple portraits please, not artistic like "silhouette over the sun", "shadow on the wall", ...

I'm the guy who followed Sue every step yesterday for the fear of getting lost Because I hardly ever step onto the other side of the lens, I post a picture from my webcam. Hope it's good enough to recognize me.

Hoggs Falls, almost fell in a few times

wow...I am really impressed with the pictures! you guys have an amazing talent! Mine are very bad lol but here they are, some of you can find yourself in amongst them. I look forward to the next event so I can learn from some of you
